Avantist is a small, founder-led house. We treat the personal information of every prospective and existing client with the same discretion we apply to our pieces. We collect only what is necessary to respond to your inquiry or fulfil a commission, and we never sell, share, or trade your information with third parties.
When you contact us by email, we receive your name, email address, and any information you choose to share in your message. When you proceed with a commission or acquisition, we additionally collect the details necessary for delivery, contractual record-keeping, and after-sales service — typically your shipping address, telephone number, and identification documents where required by Swiss law.
This website does not use third-party analytics, advertising tracking, or marketing cookies. It does not collect data passively about visitors.
For inquiries that do not result in a commission, we retain correspondence for up to twenty-four months, after which it is deleted. For active and historical clients, we retain records for the duration of the relationship and for the period subsequently required by Swiss commercial and tax law (currently ten years).
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to request deletion, subject only to the legal retention periods noted above. Requests can be sent to excellence@avantist.ch and will be acknowledged within seven business days.
Client information is held on secure systems, accessible only to the founder and a small number of authorised colleagues. Sensitive commission information is, where possible, additionally retained offline.
